Exploring Faith and Autonomy
My Interview on Bordering On Belief
I recently had the lovely opportunity to sit down for a deep dive into the heart of Reform Judaism with the Bordering On Belief podcast. It was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the values that guide my work and my faith, particularly the idea of "informed autonomy" (the freedom to make our own spiritual choices based on study and reflection).
In our conversation, we explored how our tradition remains a living, breathing resource for the modern world. We talked about why I believe revelation is an ongoing journey and how we can approach even the most challenging ancient texts with an open, questioning mind. For me, the most profound moments of faith happen in our connections with other people, and I truly enjoyed sharing that perspective.
I hope you find the conversation as engaging and thought-provoking as I did.
